I've had two excellent experiences with Marsh Moving. Tanner Marsh is the owner, very knowledgeable and responsive, and he has assembled a fantastic crew. Moved from Wolcott to West Hartford with a grand piano, antiques, jukeboxes, and a king sized bed, among other challenges. It was not your typical move! And...it was pouring rain. Two guys came the day before to wrap and prep the big pieces. If Tanner recommends it, do not skip this step, it made ALL the difference for an organized move. Everything arrived in perfect condition. Despite the rain, all seven movers were in great spirits, helpful, respectful, funny, and FAST. These guys work incredibly hard. The leaders of the crew kept things moving, but it was never frantic. The picture is from a second move of a heavy player piano that we donated to a local theatre. A challenging piece to move, but Scott, Carter, and Brendan were up to the task and did a great job. HIGHLY recommend Marsh Moving. My realtor and mortgage officer had them at the TOP of their lists, and now I know why.

Best moving experience ever!!!! I can’t thank Tanner Marsh and the professionals at Marsh Movers enough for helping move my family. It’s all about trust, communication, customer service and quality. These young men worked diligently for a solid 12 hours and were comprehensive in their packing to protect my property!! We had the best experience with Marsh Moving from start to finish. Tanner did our estimate via remote link which was very convenient, and he was very responsive to any questions I had leading up to the move. Moving is a super stressful process as everyone knows, but the day of the move Brendan, Tony, Cooper, and Carter immediately put us at ease and were extremely professional, efficient, and personable. We were amazed at how quickly they worked, since we have some larger furniture and everything was expertly wrapped and maneuvered out of one house and then put together in our new house. They also seemed to be having a great time while doing it! I hope to never move again, but to anyone who is moving, I highly recommend hiring Marsh Moving!

Frank, Scott, and Cooper did an amazing job with our move. They packed all out belongings with care and attention to detail. They were cautious of the walls, doorways, and floors in both the house we moved from and the house we moved to. We understand that moving can be stressful. Here are answers to the most common questions to help you plan a smooth relocation.

Do you protect furniture?

Yes, all furniture gets padded before leaving the home and entering our trucks. This offers the most protection while bringing your furniture to the trucks and keeps items safe while they are being transported in our trucks.

Do you protect floors?

Yes, we lay down complimentary neoprene floor runners on ever single move, no matter the size. We also offer commercial grade floor protection for an additional cost. We recommend this if floors have recently been finished or you are looking for that extra level of protection.

How else do you protect my house?

We also install door jam protectors on all doorways in order to protect the soft trim from dents, scratches, or chips. Railings and banisters will also get protected using the same method. If you are interested in extra home protections during your move, ask your moving consultant prior to your move!

How does your pricing work?

For moving, pricing is based on crew size, time, and travel. Junk removal is usually a flat rate based on the volume your items take up in our truck. You’ll always get clear, upfront pricing before we start.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. We can give estimates by phone, video walkthrough, or in-person depending on the job size. You’ll get a written quote with no hidden fees.

How soon can I schedule a move or junk removal?

Same-week availability is often possible for smaller jobs, especially for junk removal. For larger moves, we recommend booking at least 2 weeks ahead.
